I hereby would like to bring it to your kind information that we are in agreed terms for construction,erection,commissioning work with the Bangalore Water Supply board – BWSSB (Govt Sector) and the service tax is exempted as per the new service tax act 01.07.2012.And even sub-contractor to another contractor providing works contract services which are exempt.
Please advise us whether Service Tax exemption certificate is required or just the notification is well enough to speak for the aspects.
