31 October 2011 There is a proprietor in Delhi who provides courier service , internet cafe n recharging service from one premise.
While filling ST - 1 online at aces.gov.in its asking division n range as mandatory field.
I wanted to ask that how can I register for multiple services under ST-1 as courier n cafe falls under different Range n i can select only one Range.
Further I wanted to know if the premises is taken on rent , what documents are to be submitted alongwith ST-1 n its Acknowledgment for Registeration.
Lastly I wanted to know what is meant by document "constitution of applicant at the time of filling of application"

31 October 2011 division n range is based on area of business concern and not on number of services, range would remain same

in one ST 1 multiple services can be mentioned

leave and license agreement copy is required for rented premise

constitution of applicant depicts the status of assessee ie proprietory / individual

01 November 2011 I disagree with Ravikant on the following point:

At some places commissionerate, division or range is on the basis of area but at some places it is on the basis of the nature of service you are providing...

First check with the nearest department and determine your jurisdictional range...

If it is on the basis of area then you can apply for registration in one form...

but if it is on the basis of nature of service provided and you are following under different jurisdictions for different services then you will have to apply for the different services seperately...
