Split payroll

We have an employee who is sent on a long term assignment to our parent company in US and the payment conditions are, he gets his regular salary in India plus he gets his salary in US, What are the legal obligations in this issue

20 April 2012 The query can be answered only after the following info is provided:

1.Who is paying the salary i.e. Indian employer or US Company or both.
2. Stay of person in USA.
