21 September 2017 What is Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) (please explain by an example) and is it possible that a SPV in India is having a wholly owned subsidiary outside india?

21 September 2017 I cannot answer whether SPV can have wholly owned subsidary outside India but i will explain what is SPV
see while executing a project bank while sanctioning the loan wants to assess the performance of this project exclusively as an organisation you may have several projects in your company name but as per banks requirement you will form a seperate entity which you term it as Special Purpose Vehicle so that the bank financing it can assess the performance of the same seperately
