Whether sitting fees is to be paid to the directors for attending adjourned meeting in addition to the fees paid earlier?

Yes he will also be paid for adjourn meeting.
Section 309(2) provides that a director may receive remuneration by way of fee for each meeting of the Board of Directors or committee thereof attended by him. The emphasis is on “attending” the meeting and not on actual holding of meeting.

I am not agree with Ajay Ji.
As per a case law adjourned meeting is continuation of original meeting, So no additional remuneration can be paid for it.
