Is monthly Deposits in SIp's are Liable for Deduction Under sec. 80 C.

I believe the SIP pertains to mutual funds. Only subscritpions to notified mutual funds are eligible under 80C. In case if the investments mentioned are eligible then it is the amount that is invested that has to be considered
