Short refund

A Y 2011-12, the return filed claiming refund of 180000/- through e filing, intimation received granting refund of same 180000/- + interest, but refund cheque received for 70000/- for remaining 110000/- i have spoken at CPC several times, but just getting assurance. SBI says that they do not have any role to play. ASK gurgaon do not have any answer, what to do ?

You should contact to assessing officer of that Ward under which you have filed the return for the said period by showing them the Intimation and copy of cheque received.

There is no role of Assessing Officer in E filing.You have to be in touch with CPC again.

They have surely adjusted against any outstanding demand which they are having in their records. Please meet the AO and ask for any intimation for any of the previous year
