Xyz P. Ltd. is shareholder of Abc P. Ltd. holding Sh. Certificate No. 101
Name of Xyz P. Ltd. has been changed and intimation has been given to Abc P. Ltd. Abc needs to issue a fresh share certificate bearing the new name of its holder.
My query is whether the fresh Sh. Certificate will bear the same cert. no.? and what shall be the date of issue such a share certificate?

Hi
There is no need to change the share certificate with new name. In this case you can inform the ABC Pvt. Ltd. that the name of the shareholder has been changed and kindly update your register of member list.

Hi
In case of shares are held in demat form, you can send letter to your DP for change of name and update the new name. In that case, there is no need to intimate company for such name change.
