Service tax to be charged if turnover is below 10.00 lac?

In respect of taxable srervices (other than negative listing) service tax is chargable in the first year when the turnover exceeds Rs. 10 Lacs
However, basic exemption of Rs. 9.00 Lacs can be taken in respect of first year that means during first year service tax is chargable for turnover over and above Rs. 9.00 Lacs
