Whether service tax is applicable for services provided by Indian professional to foreigner?

Yes, in India.

yes service tax act will be applicable in India in such case. But if it falls in the export of service rules then the same will be exempt.

A co placed a candidate from India with a party in a foreign country and raises a bill for services rendered. Whether the person in India while raising bill should charge service tax?
