Service tax return for oct 2012 to march 2013

13 April 2013 As per notification no 2/2013, service tax return for the period July 2012 to Sep 2012 is extended to 30 Apr 2013. However, Service Tax return due date for Oct 2102 to March 2013 is 25 Apr 2013. Is there any extension for second half year as well (ie. Oct 2012 to March 2013). Please let me know

13 April 2013 Still no notification is issued officially by CBEC for extension of 2nd Half yearly return but hopefully it will be issued as no company is going to submit its 2nd half yearly service tax return before 2nd Qtr.

13 April 2013 The ST-3 e-return format for the period Oct-Mar 2013 is not yet notified by CBEC. Therefore, the due date for filing ST-3 returns for the period Oct-Mar 2013 is likely to be extended.
However, order no.2/2013 is silent on this issue.
