19 May 2012 Please confirm whether the companies have to file service tax return monthly or half yearly. and last date of filing return for the month of April 2012.

For April to Sep quarter by 25th october and October to April quarter by 25th April

19 May 2012 Service Tax return shall be filed half yearly within 25th days from the ending of the half yearly period. April to Sept due date shall be 25th October Oct to March due date shall be 25th April.
it does not matter whether assessee is individual or company service tax return shall be always filed half yearly.
