17 April 2010 our company paid 37 lac 3700000.00 service tax in this half 09-10 H-2
we have to file this return through E-filing or not

if we will not file by E-Filing any action taken by department

17 April 2010 It is better you e file the return. If you are unable to do so file mannualy and send a letter to the deparatment the problems faced by you in filing and therefore you have filed mannualy and will take steps to file electronically from the next return. Request for condonation.

17 April 2010 E-payment/E-filing is mandatory for those service tax payers who had paid more than Rs.10/-lakhs as service tax in the immediately preceding year.
