10 June 2013 My total receipts from last 4-5 years not exceeding Rs.10 lacks.I want to surrender my Registration No.
but last yr my GTO was 9.85 lacks

My query is,can I surrender my Registration No.?

10 June 2013 Service tax registration requirement starts when turnover exceeds Rs.9 lakhs itself. so you cannot surrender.
