29 March 2010 I HAVE APPLIED FOR SERVICE TAX ONLINE REGISTRATION.

I WANT TO AMEND THE PARTICULARS ALREADY SUBMITTED.

CAN I AMEND THE SAME IN THE SAME LOGIN ID OR SHOULD I SURRENDER THE REGN NO. AND APPLY FOR FRESH REGN.

WHAT SHOULD I DO KINDLY ADVISE.

30 March 2010 I understand that you had submitted the application, and the dept has not issued ST-2 to you neither they rejected your application. If this is the situation, then you won't be able to amend or surrender the application.

If you want to modify the application already submitted, better contact the concerned service tax office and seek their advise.

OR if you got registered and dept has issued ST-2, then you may visit the site, using the same login id and change the details submitted. There is no need to surrender the regn no already issued to you.
