24 January 2017 if an assesee wants to get registered under service tax under current scenario, will he be first registered under service tax and then provided provisional I'd under gst.. means firstly he will be registered under service tax and then migrated to gst.. am I right?

24 January 2017 Yes, till GST come in to force upto that time what ever we are following is applicable. So you have to Apply Service tax registration for time being and migrate to GST Upto that time what ever Compliance pertains to Service Tax is applicable.
