can anyone tell me in case of service tax registration of proprietorship firm, whether bank account should on the name of proprietorship firm or on the name of proprietor
and Rent agreement should on the name of proprietorship firm or proprietor
in my case both are on the name of proprietor
and Rent agreement should on the name of proprietorship firm or proprietor

Service tax registration is PAN based, so take registration of service tax in the name of proprietor.

In case of partnership firm the rental agreement should be in the name of the firm. For opening bank ac partnership deed is required.

In case of proprietor ship firm, as service tax registration is PAN based you can take service tax registration only in your individual name.
