10 December 2013 Dear All...

One of our client did't charged Service Tax for their service. He is not collected single Rupee as service Tax from the date of registration.

Now he want to file service tax return. how the service tax liability should be calculate.

10 December 2013 In case of nil service amount then no need to file st-3 as per recent ruling by delhi HC.

10 December 2013 They collected fee but they did't charge & collect tax amount.

In this case how to deal.

10 December 2013 in case gorss receipts do not exceed rs 9lakhs then no reg is req and if it do not exceed rs 10 lakhs then no need to charge ser tax.

11 December 2013 This case is applicable even thought they registered with department?

For Example : They registered with ST Department. They did't collected ST Amount, Their Turn Over is below 10 Lakhs,What should we do while submitting the ST return?

11 December 2013 if service rax reg is obtained and service tax is charged even for 1 rs then need to file st-1.
