25 September 2012 I Am buying a under construction flat first time and the builder is demanding service tax 3% on it. and i am having a mentally handicap son. pls let me know whether i am exempted or not

25 September 2012 so you are service receiver. No question of any exemption. Please let me know where you read such article. Some circular is there for SEZ etc. But not for such incident. The govt should necessarily do that on a priority basis.

01 October 2012 No Such Exemption Allowed, No Reference of Handicap in Service Tax Act.
Its Only in Income Tax.Since Personal Tax.

Never Think for Exemption in Service Tax Since Its a Indirect tax.

Dont Waste Your Time, & Go Ahead by paying The Service Tax.
