23 April 2009 whether service tax is applicable on technical supervision and what is the tax...???

pls give me complete details on this

23 April 2009 If the person is been employed then no service tax is applicable.
But if the said person is purely comes as an independent supervisor then TDS is to be made while making payment to him @ 10.30%
