Service tax on service charge

Hi, Can you please clarify. ABC consultant is doing a service of deputing man power n he is claiming amount of 20000 as salary amount n 10% service charge I.e. 2000 n service tax on Rs 22000. Is this correct ?

Yes. Service tax will be charged on the total amount including salary of man power deputed
