Pls clarify whether service tax is applicable on the running of buses/ mini-buses/cabs on hiring basis in schools & offices etc.

Terms of referecne and agreement wouldbe important.
school buses may not come within the definition itself.
Further Educational bodies not being a commercial traning and coaching institutes are excluded.
