Service tax on lic premium

LIC Premium Receipt is for Rs. 3528/- & Certificate received for Rs. 3140/- from LIC which is excluding service tax amount. kindly let me know what amount to be consider to claim deduction under sec.80C

you can take maount including service tax paid i.e gross amount of 3528 as deduction u/s 80C
