Dear Experts.,
I am a welding labour works concern proprietor.my yearly turnover is Rs.17,45,000.00 and then I am received house rental income yearly Rs.98,500.00.
My doubt is I am pay to service tax ? ? how ?

Yes Service Tax is applicable on labour charges.In the first year of commencement initial exemption of Rs.10 Lakhs is permissible for Small Scale service Providers. Service Tax is leviable @ 12.36%. You need to file half yearly returns as per the provisions of service tax act 1994.
