I am a Civil Engineer and executing construction of HOusing Project for Govt. employee housing Organisation, Staff Qtrs. for G.B. University & LRSI Hospital.
Please guide us whether service tax applicable or not.

If more than 12 residential units with common facilities, it is liable . But quarters falls under the exclusion on personal use. CBEC has clarified.
