01 January 2014 Hello, I m working in a contruction firm, my query is that I m receiving rent of Rs.150000 p/m plus ser tax and also I'm paying rent of Rs.25000 p/m plus ser tax so shall get ser tax credit on paying rent. pls suggest...n thnx in advance..

01 January 2014 yes allowed but u need to first get registered if the rent you earned have exceeded rs 10 lakhs.

24 March 2014 Dear Tushar,

we are already registered ser.tax no. so prblem is only whether can take ser.tax credit or not..please suggest.

25 March 2014 if ur elgible and if there is service tax credit available then u can take it.
