01 November 2011 my client received the real estate commission from companies and other private parties, the amount of commission is covers under service tax or not

01 November 2011 Yes commision/brokerage received from real estate dealings is covered under service Real estate agent service. you need to get registered and liablity of serviace tax exist if your total (gross) receipts exceeds Rs. 10 lakhs.
