05 March 2011 We are a software company and selling a off shelf software which is developed by us,in this case shall we liable to charge service tax and vat on the same software.
Please reply. I need your help.

05 March 2011 Unfortunately the practical solution to avoid disputes is YES. However the imposition of ST on the transfer of property considering the same as a deemed service is not proper and has been challenged but clear decision not aavilable.
