CAN A UNIT OF SAME ASSESSEE RAISE BILL OF SERVICES PROVIDED TO OTHER UNIT?

yes ,if both units are two different business entites other wise internal debit/credit notes

There is one Refinery division and other unit is pipeline division providing services of transfer of crude and other products through its pipe line to Refinery division. Can pipeline division charge service tax on refinery division for services provided? If yes, please state the relevant provision of service tax.

Transactions between two divisions of the same entity do not attract service tax as there is no profit element.
