Dear Sir, We are manufacturer and exporting our goods, pl clarify What would be paid service tax in GTA from place of exporter to Port.
Transporter bill amt -10000 less 30% =7000 tax amt @15% = 1050/- ?????? the amount payable KINDLY ---

As Per the Provision Contained in Notification No. 31/2012 dated 20-06-2012,
Following GTA Services are eligible For Exemption-
Service Provided to an exporter for transport of the said goods by GTA in a Good carriage from any container fright station or inland container depot to the port, airport or custom station, as the case may be, from where the goods are exported OR
Service Provided to an Exporter in relation to transport of the said goods by GTA directly from their place of removal to an inland container depot, a container freight station, a port, airport or land custom station, as the case may be, from where the goods are exported.
So, Your Service is exempt from Tax if it fulfill above criteria so no need to charge and pay service tax.
