i am in receipt of some vendor bills pertaining to cah hire charges.Can you please advise the rate of service tax payable and also on what amount ? shall the service tax be paid on bill amount with toll/parking receipts ? or only on the car hire charges.

This will depend upon the contract entered into with CAB owner. Normally, unless otherwise specifically mentioned, the service tax chargeable on BILL amount.
