01 August 2012 i am in receipt of some vendor bills pertaining to cah hire charges.Can you please advise the rate of service tax payable and also on what amount ? shall the service tax be paid on bill amount with toll/parking receipts ? or only on the car hire charges.

01 August 2012 This will depend upon the contract entered into with CAB owner. Normally, unless otherwise specifically mentioned, the service tax chargeable on BILL amount.
