We are providing security service. can we book and issue invoices on 1st july, if service is actually provided in the month of june (1st june to 30th june)?
or, we have to book the invoices on 30th june itself?

04 July 2015 For the purpose of service tax you can issue invoice on 1st July.

04 July 2015 It is the date of invoice matters booking in the accounts not relevant for service tax.

04 July 2015 from 1.4.2015 if your pvt ltd company then you are liable to pay service tax. otherwise service recipient if company pay service tax on your bill.
