UNDER REVERSE CHARGES SERVICE TAX APPLICABLE ON SECURITY SERVICE W.E.F FROM 7TH AUGUST.

Service tax under partial reverse charge on security services has NOT been withdrawn and is still applicable.

It is still applicable and half of the tax has to be paid by the Service provider and remaining half by service receiver.

Dear CA Ashwini, the service tax is not to be borne equally.
75% by the service recipient and 25% by the service provider.
