09 January 2016 RESPECTED SIR,

MY SISTER IS MENTALLY RETARDED & BROTHER IS PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED.
BOTH'S CIVIL SURGEON MEDICAL CERTIFICATE HAS RECEIVED.THEY ARE FULLY DEPENDED ON ME FOR SURVIVAL IN REGARD OF MY BROTHER & SISTER, MY QUERIES ARE AS UNDER.

1) CAN I TAKE BENEFIT U/S 80 DD FOR BOTH ( 75000+75000) FOR F.Y.15-16

2) EACH YEAR TAKING AUTHORIZATION ON FORM NO.10-IA FROM CIVIL SURGEON
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT , THEN IN THIS CASE CAN I TAKE AUTHORIZATION FROM OUR
FAMILY DOCTOR, WHO IS MBBS.

YOU ARE REQUESTED TO GUIDE ME .

09 January 2016 Dear Sir, According to act, not every doctor can give certification for medical disability. Please check if the disability requires reassessment as per form 10IA. If it requires reassessment, then till such date, you can use the original certificate and need not get certificate every year. Keep the original certificate and produce it only when you are asked for. DO NOT FILE WITH IT RETURN. You can get total of Rs 75000 only and not per person. Hope your doubts are cleared.
