09 July 2013 Dear Sir,

I have taken a medical policy of my spouse an amount of Rs. 4150 for financial year 2012-2013.Shall I claim of Preventive health check up of Rs. 5000 for this financial year.Please tell me how much amount i have to deducted in my tax calculation under section 80D in financial year 2012-13.Is it 4150 + 5000=9150 or 4150?
