Whether the amount deposited under Mutual Fund SIP (Systematic Investment Plan)are covered under Sec 80C.

All mutual funds are not covered by sec 80c. you can also invest in SIP and enjoy the benefits of 80c. You have consult the concerned agent or bank in this behalf.
Remember mutual funds covered by 80c shuld have a lock in period of minimum 3 years. and it is mentioned on the MF that they are covered by 80c or not.
