sir, in case assessee's son expired, can asseessee claim lic premium paid on widowed dauther in law?

Yes he can claim it under 80C, coz son's wife is covered under the list of Relatives/....

u/s 80c it is clearly written as himself, spouse and childer
relatives is nowhere
