23 March 2023 I get annual medical reimbursement of Rs 38000, the bills given for medical reimbursement are for my parents who are senior citizens. Can i claim this as a deduction under section 80 D in my income tax return?

23 March 2023 The amount spent is reimbursed hence 80D deduction can't be claimed.

23 March 2023 If the amount spent by me on my parents who are senior citizens is more than the amount reimbursed by me, can i claim the deduction for the amount extra than what has been reimbursed under section 80D?
