please solve the query, one person has taken a property on rent from his mother and thereafter running a hostel over there. Is this income will be the covered under Sec. 44AD?

From A.Y.2011-12 those who offering their income under the Business head as business income covers under section 44AD. So i think your case also covering under section 44AD.
