18 July 2013 Is there any remedy availble for waiver of such late fees chargers charged under section 234e to the assessee.

18 July 2013 There is no reaction from the side of the tax deductors. With a united effort only this draconian provision of law can be amended for the relief of poor tax deductors.

A Tax deductor is discharging the duties of Govt Collection Agent without any Fee or Commission.
.
He has to suffer. No remedy. Wait & Watch like me and many others.

20 July 2013 This provision has very hardship to deductor. Sometime a deductor may not be able to pay even to creditor due to financial liquidity. It is very ridiculous that the deductor is paying interest then he has to pay late fee thereafter he may be liable to penalty u/s 271H. Businessmen and professionals should raise their voice against this draconian section 234E. At least government should waive this fees upto 31.03.2013.
