01 September 2016 for Nov 2016 attempt, I want to know whether tips collected by hotels will attract section 192 or not...?

01 September 2016 Dear Devanshi, TDS will not be deducted on tips collected by hotels and paid to staff as per supreme court judgement in case of ITC Ltd vs commissioner of income tax. Hope your query is resolved Kindly like if my response has helped you

02 September 2016 this is the recent case law of April 2016.... bt I m preparing for Nov 2016, in book case law is given ITC 2011 I.e. TDS will be deducted....

02 September 2016 Dear Devanshi, if any question asked in exam then write as per icai module but mentioned that currently such TDS has been removed as per supreme court judgement. Hope your query is resolved
