Quick Summary
If you've filed your Income Tax Return under Section 44AD and received a notice under Section 131(1A) requesting books of accounts, but haven't maintained them, don't panic. You can submit your bank statements and any other relevant documents supporting your declared income. It's advisable to check your AIS and Form 26AS to ensure all income sources were considered, and consider meeting the Assessing Officer in person.

06 October 2024 It seems that there has been concealment of income, while filing ITR.
Check properly AIS report along with Form 26AS and the income declared in ITR.
You may produce the bank statements and any relevant papers available, w.r.t. the income declared in ITR.

07 October 2024 Sir I have checked AIS already and considered every source of income present today is my hearing I am submitting bank statement and itr copies will that be sufficient

07 October 2024 At present when you are already submitting few documents in reply to notice, it is OK.
Try to understand the information obtained by ITD for the issue of the notice, that will prepare you for the future course. You may personally meet the officer concerned.

11 October 2024 Good luck ....
