14 July 2018 I would like to know whether we deduct the amount of donations if the date of contribution is within the Previous year before 31 March or is it till date of Filing return . please reply as soon as possible.

15 July 2018 Thank You so much Sir, I have an another doubt. Date of cheque is within the previous year but it got debited in the bank account in the next previous year. Is it eligible for deduction. Please kindly help....

15 July 2018 Generally, if cheque is honoured, cheque date is considered as date of payment, but disputable if there is no proof.
