05 July 2013 Medical checkup expenditure in cash is allowed to only who have Mediclaim policy or any body can claim .

If no medclaim policy then there is not allowed for deduction ???

05 July 2013 PHC can be considered separate from medi-claim. medi-claim policy is not a pre-requisite condition as such.

Medical Check up exp can be claimed.

if they incurred medical checkup expenditure u/s 80D up to Rs. 5000/-
