27 February 2015 When two branches of same entity made payment above Rs.20000/- to a same person on a single day as these two branches were unknown that other branch also made payment to a same person. Is sec 40a(3) applicable in this case.

Please provide case laws based on this case.

27 February 2015 yes it doesnot matter whether payment is made to known or uknown what is imp is its exp paid in excess of rs 20,000 in a single day to 1 single person to attract sec 40A(3)
