25 February 2016 I got a query regarding whether the person who is an individual giving stage shows is regarded as professional or not. It is clearly states that film artist does not iclude the above person. Whether i have to deduct TDS under sec 194j to the above person

25 February 2016 ‘professional services’ means services rendered by a person in the course of carrying on legal, medical, engineering or architectural profession or the profession of accountancy or technical consultancy or interior decoration or advertising or such other profession as is notified by the Board for the purposes of section 44AA or of this section
Yes , you have to deduct TDS u/s 194J .
