What if during the scrutiny the assesse is abroad. Can he submit all the information from abroad by post and leave it on the AO for best judgement assessment? What could be the consequences?

Producing the details works in favour of the assessee as at any further stage he can explain the things and can make a point. He should authorise a person to appear on his behalf by providing him the Letter of Authority.

Sir, Thanks. But can I inform the AO before leaving country to inform me of any notice regarding my assessments not only relating to scrutiny but any subsequent AY IT returns at my notified email address only since I will not be available at the India address. ??
