Yes there is a lot of scope in accounting field. I would suggest you to learn new way of accounting. I mean learn ERP and SAP based accounting bcoz most of the companies are following this practice.
Keep looking for new jobs. You may also go for some small accounting related courses for knowledge purpose.
But currently I am working on Tally ERP & suppose if I am learning the new software such as SAP as you suggested. Then please suggest the module that I should learn for better future prospect.

Great question! If you’re already familiar with Tally ERP and want to expand into SAP for better career prospects, here’s what I suggest:
### Best SAP modules for an Accountant to learn:
* **SAP FI (Financial Accounting)**: This is the core accounting module in SAP. It covers everything from ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, to financial reporting. Learning SAP FI will give you strong control over financial transactions and compliance.
* **SAP CO (Controlling)**: This module complements FI and focuses on internal cost management, budgeting, profitability analysis, and cost center accounting. It’s very useful if you want to move towards management accounting or financial planning roles.
---
### Why SAP FI/CO?
* Most large organizations use SAP FI/CO for their finance and accounting operations. * The modules are integrated, providing a complete financial management solution. * Demand for SAP FI/CO professionals is consistently high in India and globally. * It also opens doors to roles like SAP Financial Consultant, Business Analyst, and Finance Manager.
---
### Other useful skills:
* **GST compliance in SAP** (especially if you want to handle taxation). * Basic knowledge of **SAP MM (Material Management)** or **SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)** can also be helpful as these integrate with finance.
---
### Summary:
* Start with **SAP FI** module training. * Later, you can add **SAP CO** for deeper financial control. * Combine SAP knowledge with your existing accounting experience and Tally expertise for maximum impact.
If you want, I can suggest some good online courses or institutes for SAP FI/CO training! Would that help?
