23 November 2012 what is schedule entry under Maharashtra VAT
and also how much is the VAT for Mobile Covers right now we are charging 5% but the vendors are asking from us 12.5%
we explained to them but they are asking to give the schedule entry.

Kindly assist me
its very urgent

23 November 2012 you need to search the same in the schedules of MVAT. mvat.gov.in

Prima facie the contention of 12.5% seems to be correct. There is no any specific entry for "mobile cover" under 5% rate category in MVAT.
