Pls tell me any duty effect when i send a sample to my client . if yes whats actually effects in excise and commercial tax in West Bengal

27 September 2015 for excise : The sample is excise paid.

for Commercial tax : no vat is payable on samples distributed FREE.

29 September 2015 thanks sir, for your reply , but i need some more information , like

1. i have to make excise invoice against sample ?

2. what should be the posting in JV ?

3. any notification or section , pls mention in the both the case

29 September 2015 1. yes. for sample you need to make the excise invoice. No matter whether you give it to the concerned person or not

2.posting in jv is debit sample for client

3. i do not have the notification. Will try to get it
